The NMDOT is conducting an Alignment Study for NM Highway 68 and US Highway 84/285 in Española. The study area begins on US 84/285 at milepost 188.0, northwest of the Upper San Pedro Road intersection, and ends at milepost 4.2 north of Po’Pay Avenue on NM 68. As part of the study, various roadway conditions have been analyzed such as pavement and bridge, sidewalks, curb ramps, access management, and ADA compliance and potential alternatives have been developed for consideration. The NMDOT hosted a virtual public meeting on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 6:00 PM (MT).
