The New Mexico Department of Transportation hosted the second virtual public involvement meeting for the NM 213 Phase A/B Study. The purpose of the meeting was to present alternatives under consideration for the NM 213 corridor from the NM 404 Intersection to the NM/Texas State Line, and to provide an opportunity to hear public questions and comments.

The study evaluates the NM 213 and NM 404 intersection and the NM 213 corridor south of the NM 404 intersection. The purpose of the study is based on the need to improve capacity, safety and physical deficiencies at the intersection and along NM 213 within the study area. Proposed alternatives will include recommended improvements to the existing roadway facilities and/or construction of new roadway facilities, as well as consideration of a no build scenario.
